We recommend a minimum age of ten for JSS1. The best time to start secondary school is at the threshold of adolescence, especially when it means leaving home for the boarding house.

A teacher who knows your child.
Each year group learns in large, well-ventilated classrooms with whiteboards, a chalkboard for geometrical constructions, a mobile graph board, and a locker for every pupil.
A class teacher takes charge of each class for the whole session, meeting pupils daily at registration and weekly in guidance lessons, and keeps close watch on both academic performance and conduct so parents always get meaningful reports.
